Onsite Pool Facilities
At Channel Islands Scuba, we have our very own onsite pool specifically designed for Scuba diving training. The pool is 12ft deep at its deepest point, providing ample space for divers to practice and perfect their skills underwater. Our facility was thoughtfully constructed to ensure divers have the necessary space to hone their abilities to the fullest extent.
The pool is heated and maintained at a comfortable year-round temperature of 85 degrees Fahrenheit, so divers can train in comfort regardless of the weather conditions outside. Additionally, the pool is always covered to provide a pleasant and shaded environment for divers to train in.

$200 for any 4 hour block.

Channel Islands Scuba's Facilities Are Available For Industry Rentals
This facility has been thoughtfully designed specifically for Scuba Diver Training. It boasts a wide 4ft deep shallow end and a straight vertical drop off to 12 ft. deep, providing ample underwater space that is optimal for Scuba and breath hold training, as well as underwater photo shoots. Our facility is tailored to meet the needs of those who require maximum underwater space.
Our location is situated in the back of a commercial shopping center, which offers easy access to nearby restaurants and grocery stores. You can take advantage of our semi-private parking lot, which provides ample space with 30+ parking spots available. It’s important to note that we are located between a couple of active loading docks for big box retail stores. As a result, you may witness trucks and trailers backing and turning in the parking lot, which could impact noise levels around the pool area. We share a wall with residential homes, and out of respect for our neighbors, we do our best to keep noise levels to a minimum between 6 pm and 8 am. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
The pool is under the ownership and management of the attached Scuba Center, and it is important that any use of the pool does not disrupt their operations. Since the dive center is attached to the pool, you have the advantage of accessing expert knowledge in scuba diving and breath holding techniques. Additionally, you have the option to hire a professional dive instructor or rent scuba equipment if you need. The rental comes with benches and tables, as seen in photos, and you can also rent additional equipment for background displays or in-water use.
To ensure the safety and comfort of all, we kindly ask that you refrain from smoking, consuming food, or drinking alcohol in the pool area. This policy is in place to maintain a clean and healthy environment for everyone to enjoy. However, if you have catering needs, please feel free to utilize the parking lot area. We kindly ask that you refrain from any alcohol consumption as it is a public space. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide a pleasant experience for all of our guests.
Finding a suitable water stage for photography or smaller productions can be a daunting task. We empathize with the challenges you may face in this regard and are pleased to offer a solution. Our pool is available to rent for film and photography purposes, providing a convenient and versatile water stage option. With our pool, you can capture stunning images and footage that are sure to impress. Our rental process is straightforward and hassle-free, ensuring that you can focus on your creative vision rather than logistical concerns. We understand the importance of having access to a reliable water stage, and we are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Pricing is based on size of the production relative to our space, number of people on site, and how much of our parking lot will be occupied.
- Small Production (1-5 people) $200 per hour
- Medium Production (6-10 people) $300 per hour
- Large Production (>10 people or Multiple days with equipment left overnight) — $4000 per 12 hour day
- Large Productions will require a site representative — $600 per 12 hr day
- We unfortunately cannot accommodate extended shoots and have a maximum rental of 5 days including setup and teardown
- Scuba Rental Package — $100 per day
- Single Tank —$20 per day
- Air Fills — $20 per fill
- 25ft Hose on Tank (Hookah) — $100 per day
- Background Equipment Staging Package — $250 per day
Do you want the background to look like an active dive shop? We will stage various scuba equipment in the space. To be used as above water props only, any in water rentals will be charged full Scuba Package price as cleaning fee.
